Sex writing tips (NSFW LANGUAGE)

It's well known that a decent amount of sex is written by virgins or asexuals or people who don't swing that way in their panties. As well it should be—there's someone amazing turnout that way. "White what you know" is too often an excuse for the week.

But it does also lead to writers "learning" by sex works from people who "learnt" the same time. Male anal sex is a big example of this. It always hurts. Stretching is done with the fingers, one-two-scissor-three-and then there's the enchilada. Prostates are magic orgasm buttons. Cock rings stop ejaculation.

Apart from the emotion (and not always then), they can be fairly generic. I'm sharing a post I made to All Fandom club that was written with a bit of a smug tone (him! Not me!) about why it doesn't need to go that way.

Feedback on his site goes two ways: Thank you! You didn't have all the sex, and coming up in third: It's not about the mechanics, it's about the emotional.

Then why do people criticise male depictions of lesbian sex? Aren't hundreds of women doing the same thing, out of wilful ignorance. Should we all take it upon ourselves to not just write sex the way we've heard to goes, but the way it does go—millions of people stand (or lie, or bend over the desk) in testament to that—it's pretty damned hot the right (and physically possible) ways.
